Knitting Up A Storm!

Friday, February 17, 2006

For some strange reason I need to join a new ball of yarn to each of my BIL's sock and that means I will have to weave in the ends, pain in the ass if you ask me, especially with socks. I'll do it, because I have no other choice AND then, it hit me while on the train to work today - I'm knitting with 100% wool, so I can russian join the suckers together and viola no weaving in the ends. Solves that problem.

There are days I just need to give my head a big shake - wish I would have thought of that little secret weapon with the first sock. Oh well, live and learn.

I still haven't finished the 2nd one, but mark my words my pretty - it will be done tonight! Unless the other WIPs distract me. No, I must finish this sock. It is Sock Month for crying out loud.

Have a great weekend.
