Look At Me....

I bought five Fleece Artist Scarf kits from the Naked Sheep a couple of weeks ago, but forgot to take pictures. So here they are:

I know what you are thinking, 10 hanks of yarn to wind, how long do you think it would take me. Not long when you have one of these:

My wonderful husband made this swift for me. Can you believe it? He is so awesome.. Katherine from the SnB described hers, and I knew he could make it. She then took a picture of hers and Chris saw it, and well, you see the outcome. I love it. It took me less time to wind 8 hanks then it takes to wind one with a chair and yarn winder.

Yeah for me...

Knitting news? Almost at the decreases on the first thrummed mittens. Man, these suckers are taking forever. I'm thinking if I can make the one before next weekend, I can finish the second one next weekend at the girl's weekend away. Christine (who the mitts are for) will be there, and she can make the thrums as I am knitting them. Let's hope they will be finished by next weekend and I can move on to the other things.
